Together with Vicki and Rolf Sorg, top leaders and executives from the organization attended an exclusive program that included private access to Gardens by the Bay. In the evening, celebrations continued at CÉ LA VI at Marina Bay Sands. The VIP party on the 57th floor, overlooking Marina Bay, is likely to remain a memorable experience for many of those attending.

Singapore has become the center of PM-International’s Asian business

PM-International began the systematic expansion of its Asian business with a subsidiary in Malaysia in 2012. Its first Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore opened in 2015, followed by a move to larger premises in 2019. On October 8, 2025, PM-International opened a new company-owned Asia-Pacific headquarters. According to the company, around €22 million was invested in the site.

PM-International is now present in several key Asian markets

PM-International is now active in countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia. Additional markets have since been added or are currently being developed.

PM-International has therefore achieved something no other German network marketing company has accomplished on a comparable scale: establishing a broad presence across several of Asia’s major direct selling markets.

Vorwerk is also highly successful in Asia, but the Wuppertal-based group operates in traditional direct selling rather than under a network marketing model and is therefore not directly comparable.

Asia is the world’s largest direct selling region by revenue

Figures published by the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations in 2025 underline the importance of the Asian markets. In 2024, direct selling sales in Asia-Pacific amounted to approximately US$66.06 billion. This represented 40.3 percent of global industry revenue. Around 62.3 million independent representatives were active across the region.

Among the largest markets are South Korea with annual sales of around US$15.07 billion, Malaysia with US$10.20 billion, Japan with US$9.58 billion, Taiwan with US$4.56 billion and India with US$3.53 billion.

Asia is particularly attractive for network marketers with international ambitions

South Korea, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan and India are among the most important markets for network marketers looking to build organizations across national borders. Network marketing and direct selling have been firmly established in these countries for many years.

Together, these five markets generate almost US$43 billion in annual industry sales. They are also home to millions of active independent representatives. Thailand and Indonesia likewise have large established direct selling networks.

For European network marketers, these figures are difficult to compare with the scale of most domestic markets. Those who succeed in building customer and distributor organizations across several Asian countries gain access to some of the largest markets in the global industry.

PM-International positioned itself in Asia at an early stage

In 2015, PM-International’s Asian sales were still around US$40 million, according to company information. Since then, the business has expanded substantially. PM-International does not currently disclose a separate revenue figure for Asia.

For network marketers with international ambitions, Asia is therefore no longer a secondary market. The size of the consumer markets, the high number of active distributors and PM-International’s growing infrastructure make the region an increasingly important part of the company’s international business.

Marina Bay Sands – suites costing up to S$35,000 per night

Opened in 2010, Marina Bay Sands has become one of Singapore’s most recognizable landmarks. Three hotel towers rise directly above Marina Bay and are connected by the Sands SkyPark, home to the world-famous infinity pool.

At the top end of the hotel’s accommodation is the Chairman Suite. With four bedrooms and approximately 630 square meters of space, it features a private elevator, 24-hour butler service, spa and fitness facilities, a grand piano and limousine transfers. The Chairman Suite is regarded as the hotel’s most expensive accommodation. Recent media reports put rates at between S$15,000 and S$35,000 per night – equivalent to roughly €23,700 at the upper end.
