PM-International unveiled plans for a company-owned banking solution at its Leadership Event in December 2025. The network marketing company based in Speyer intends to handle payment processing and account management for its sales partners in-house going forward—a first in the direct selling industry. Full operations are scheduled for the end of 2026.
Timeline Projects 12 Months for Implementation
According to the company, implementation of the banking solution will take approximately 12 months. The rollout will occur in several phases: European markets will be connected first, followed by the Asia-Pacific region—starting with the highest-revenue countries, which will be onboarded country by country. Introduction to the American markets is planned as the final step. Sales partners will receive ongoing updates on progress.
Virtual Accounts to Replace External Service Providers
At the core of the initiative are virtual bank accounts that PM-International plans to operate independently. Until now, the company has relied on external payment service providers for this function. According to the company, the existing virtual accounts belong to third-party providers that charge high monthly fees. Negotiations for more favorable terms were unsuccessful. As a result, PM-International decided to build its own solution. Account management will be offered free of charge to all sales partners.
Interest Earnings to Be Automatically Shared with Partners
If interest is earned on account balances, PM-International intends to automatically share it with account holders. Individual negotiations will not be required—participation will be fair and automatic for all partners. A fixed interest rate was not promised, as rates depend on general market conditions and fluctuate accordingly. The company emphasized its commitment to transparent distribution.
Independent Payment Infrastructure as Strategic Objective
By building its own payment infrastructure, the direct selling company aims to reduce provider fees worldwide and become less dependent on external financial service providers. In addition to account management, the platform is intended to handle payment processing and credit processes. The company expects this to provide greater control, security, and independence.
Micro-Loans as Long-Term Option
As a long-term goal, PM-International mentioned the introduction of micro-loans for sales partners. However, this feature will not be available at launch, as additional banking licenses and regulatory approvals are required. To build out the financial division, the company plans to hire additional professionals with banking experience. Expansion will proceed gradually with a focus on security.
Transparency Instead of Hidden Fees
In announcing the initiative, PM-International emphasized the core principle of the new banking solution: partnership rather than traditional banker mentality. The goal is not to profit from inexperienced users. There will be no hidden fees. Fairness, transparency, and a win-win approach are intended to ensure that both the company and sales partners benefit from the solution.
