Jeff Altgilbers, Dave Daughtrey, and Juan Rosado have been involved in network marketing for decades. Their journeys into the industry could hardly have been more different. Altgilbers sold an old truck to get back into business, Daughtrey experienced homelessness, and Rosado worked as a security guard. Despite these challenging circumstances, all three recognized the potential of 4Life and went on to become some of the Utah-based company’s top leaders. Their personal success stories demonstrate what can be achieved in network marketing, even when the odds seem stacked against you.
110 Years of Network Marketing Experience
The photo was taken during a 4Life event in São Paulo, Brazil, and shows Jeff Altgilbers alongside his sponsor, Dave Daughtrey, and Juan Rosado. Together, the three bring approximately 110 years of experience in network marketing.
Jeff Altgilbers has been in the industry for more than 40 years. One of the most memorable stories from his early career is his famous „Junk Truck Story.“ After suffering a financial setback, he lacked the money needed to start over. To get back into network marketing, he sold an old truck to raise the necessary funds. He later joined 4Life, where he became the first distributor to achieve the Platinum Elite rank.
Dave Daughtrey already had around 18 years of network marketing experience when he met 4Life founders David and Bianca Lisonbee in 1998. At the time, his personal circumstances were far from easy. According to Altgilbers, Daughtrey had even experienced a period of homelessness. His fresh start with 4Life eventually developed into a remarkable career, making him one of the company’s leading distributors.
Juan Rosado was working as a security guard when he joined 4Life. According to Altgilbers, he also had very limited financial resources at the time. Over the years, Rosado built an international network marketing business and ultimately achieved the Platinum Elite rank at 4Life.
Long-Term Commitment as a Key to Success
Together, Jeff Altgilbers, Dave Daughtrey, and Juan Rosado have accumulated approximately 110 years of industry experience, including a combined 77 years with 4Life.
Such long-term commitment is far from common in network marketing. New companies, products, and compensation plans regularly enter the market, creating new opportunities and encouraging distributors to explore different paths.
Altgilbers, however, has a clear perspective on the importance of staying with the right company.
„As long as a company treats its distributors well, offers products that deliver real value, and provides fair compensation, there is no reason to keep looking for the next opportunity,“ the top leader explains.
The careers of these three men offer compelling examples of this philosophy. Their starting points were very different, and none of them enjoyed ideal circumstances. Yet each chose a company and remained committed to it for decades.
In an industry where conversations often revolve around the next big opportunity, staying power can be a significant advantage – provided the company continues to offer the right products, support, and business conditions.
4Life: Established in 1998
4Life was founded in 1998 by David and Bianca Lisonbee and is headquartered in Utah, USA. The direct selling company specializes in nutritional supplements and wellness products and is particularly known for its Transfer Factor product line. In Germany, however, 4Life maintains a relatively low profile in the market.
